Feeder Chickens grown right here on our farm!
These are fed a NON-medicated soy-free custom feed, and pastured from 2-4 weeks of age. Our feed does NOT contain Roxarsone, an arsenic-based feed additive.
Our feeder chickens are a variety of breeds - we don't use CornishX or other heavy-breasted hybrids, preferring instead to make use of males of egg-laying breeds which otherwise enter the waste stream. This also gives your pets a more natural meat-to-bone ratio, and slower growth means more nutrition per ounce!

These will arrive WHOLE, with feathers, feet, head, and all. If you prefer yours plucked and cleaned, there will be an additional charge of $3.50 per bird; minimum order may apply. Processing is done at a USDA/Certified Organic plant. Please be aware that processing will reduce the finished weight of the bird.
Fryer size chickens will weigh between 2.50 and 4.00 lbs each.
Chickens are humanely euthanized with CO2 (carbon dioxide gas) and frozen whole (unless processed).
