These are fed a NON-medicated soy-free custom feed, and pastured from 2-4 weeks of age. Our feed is a soy-free custom blend and does NOT contain Roxarsone, an arsenic-based feed additive.
Our feeder chicks are a variety of breeds; we don't use CornishX or other heavy-breasted breeds, preferring instead to make use of males of egg-laying breeds which otherwise enter the waste stream. This also gives your pets a more natural meat-to-bone ratio, and slower growth means more nutrition per ounce!

Processing is not available on feeder chicks. These will arrive WHOLE, with feathers, feet, head, and all.
Six-week-old chicks will weigh between 9.0 and 11.0 ounces each.
Chicks are humanely euthanized with CO2 (carbon dioxide gas) and frozen whole.
