Quail eggs are a gourmet delicacy often used for hors d'ouvres, fancy entrees, or just snacking. They are great hardboiled and pickled, fried, poached - any way you would prepare chicken eggs. Flavor is similar to chicken eggs, but more delicate and buttery.

Quail eggs may be tolerated well by pets allergic to chicken eggs. Often times, allergies to chicken protein are caused by vaccines, some of which are grown on chicken egg albumen. These allergies should not be triggered by quail or quail eggs. Quail eggs are available frozen in 2-oz portion cups for pets, which CAN be shipped.
